The Hilton Garden Inn in Greensboro, North Carolina, engaged TrueCraft for a coordinated hotel millwork package covering the lobby buffet and market areas. The scope required fabricating multiple cabinet assemblies around existing architectural conditions and a range of food-service equipment, with each piece requiring precise dimensional coordination before fabrication could begin.

Buffet Area

The buffet cabinetry was built to house induction units, warming equipment, refrigerated display cases, and coffee and microwave appliances within a unified millwork package. Dark wood laminate and stained finishes tie the cabinetry together, while 2 cm polished engineered stone countertops provide a durable working surface. A custom back cabinet with integrated food-service appliances anchors the cook line opening, and a sliding frosted acrylic panel frames the pass-through without interrupting the overall finish palette. Feature framing, overhead beams, and solid wood accent trim connect the cabinetry to the ceiling plane, keeping the assembly visually cohesive despite the compact footprint. Tile backsplash coordination and electrical provisions for equipment openings were part of the fabrication scope.

Market Area

The market section received a custom island service cabinet along with open shelving and display cabinetry sized to accept refrigerated and self-serve equipment. Signage and graphic panel integration was built into the cabinetry layout, and aluminum trim and metal finish details carry through from the buffet to maintain a consistent look across both areas.

The full package required manufacturer coordination on multiple equipment openings and field verification of existing conditions to achieve consistent alignment throughout the space. TrueCraft’s stone and quartz countertop fabrication was incorporated directly into the millwork delivery to reduce field coordination between trades.
