Salt & Sky Rooftop Bar

Salt & Sky in Charleston, South Carolina is a rooftop hospitality venue for which TrueCraft Millwork & Stone fabricated a coordinated package of restaurant and bar millwork spanning the rooftop bar, roof terrace, corridor, and both restrooms.

Rooftop Bar

The centerpiece of the project is a long-format bar assembly with custom back bar cabinetry, integrated open shelving, and display areas. An arched tiled back-bar feature using Daltile Debonaire Estate tile gives the bar a distinct visual anchor, while Cambria Inverness Bristol Bay quartz surfaces and stone aprons run along the bar top. Champagne bronze hardware and decorative metal brackets carry through the material palette. Integrated LED lighting, power, USB, and equipment coordination were built into the assemblies, requiring field-verified dimensions and careful sequencing around existing wall conditions and equipment rough-ins.

Roof Terrace and Corridor

Decorative slatted louver assemblies were fabricated for the terrace and corridor areas, providing architectural definition consistent with the bar’s finish palette. Sherwin-Williams painted cabinetry finishes and bronze accessories maintain continuity across zones.

Women’s Restroom

A custom vanity with specialty cabinet hardware and integrated coordination around plumbing and wall conditions was fabricated and finished to match the broader project palette.

Men’s Restroom

The men’s restroom received a matching custom vanity with the same attention to hardware selection and finish consistency applied throughout the project.

Across all areas, transitions between stone and quartz countertops, tile, painted cabinetry, and metal finishes were managed as part of a single coordinated scope, with assemblies sized and detailed to suit field-verified conditions at each location.
